Product description A recreation of the BJF Dyna Red Distortion—and one designed by its creator, Bjorn Juhl—the OneControl Rebel Red is a distortion pedal intended for electric guitarists. It's designed to give you a thick, dark tone, while still providing manageable, yet hefty, distortion.While the pedal works well with any configuration of pickups and virtually any guitar amplifier, it particularly suits high-output pickups such as humbuckers, perfect for playing legato lead parts. The pedal also suits the bridge pickups of guitars boasting single coil pickups, as it will soften the edge without nullifying the bite altogether.
Controls are on hand for Volume, Distortion, and Treble. The Treble is a frequency control that tweaks the amount of high-end in your overall timbre. The Rebel Red features true bypass switching to keep your signal pristine when it's not engaged. It can be powered by 9V batteries or from conventional DC power supplies.
