Product description The Strawberry Red Over Drive from OneControl is a BJF Series overdrive pedal designed to offer an original overdrive sound rather than an imitation of an existing tone. It is intended to be paired with an amplifier and envisioned to be used by guitarists of all musical genres.The pedal’s overdrive is shaped to be versatile and expressive, accentuating the attributes of other components in the signal chain. Its controls are logical and effective. The Drive control offers a wide gain range, from clean boost to hard overdrive and rich in harmonics and responsive to playing style. Tone can be adjusted via two controls, Treble and Low. The Treble knob allows up to 3 dB of cut, between 70 Hz and 7 kHz. Or it can boost up to 6 dB of higher frequencies, between 700 Hz and 7 kHz. The Low control is a trim pot, offering up to 6 dB of attenuation, from 19 Hz to 170 Hz. This can help keep the low end under control. The pedal's output level is adjusted via the Vol control.Like all BJF Series pedals, the Strawberry Red Over Drive features an aluminum enclosure and true bypass switching. Power can be supplied from a 9V battery or 9 VDC power supply (both available separately). If used with a high-voltage power supply, the pedal will yield increased headroom and less gain. -
