Product description Enjoy high-resolution stereo sound with your music source, speakers, and the Onkyo A-9110 2-Channel 100W Home Theater Integrated Amplifier. It delivers up to 50W per channel at 4 Ohms and has a phono input and four stereo RCA inputs. The A-9110 features a front-panel 1/4" headphone jack for private listening. - High-Current Power with Wide-Range Amplifiers
- Dynamic changes in music can cause impedance to fluctuate. If power can't be delivered when this happens, sound quality can suffer. Onkyo's solution is WRAT, the high-output El transformer and large main audio capacitors. High-current stability controls the speaker's drivers for accurate reproduction of dynamic musical passages, and the low-negative-feedback amplifier topology helps distinguish the timbral warmth, fullness, and vibrancy of the recording. Together, this circuitry is designed to capture a wide frequency spectrum with low distortion.
- Clarity at Low Volumes
- When playing music at low volume, the signal can drop close to the component's noise floor, causing the signal to pick up noise, which is then amplified, causing muffled sound. To avoid this, the A-9110 features Optimum Gain Volume Circuitry, a volume circuit that requires less than half the usual amount of attenuation. The signal doesn't approach the noise floor, so you can enjoy clear sound at low volume.
- Phase Matching Bass Boost
- To further enhance sound quality at low volumes, the Phase Matching Bass Boost function is designed to eliminate phase-shift between low- and mid-range frequency bands above 300 Hz. This helps enhance bass response without compromising vocal clarity, which is particularly useful when playing music at low volume where bass and high-frequency sounds are more difficult to hear.
- Rigid Chassis for Minimized Resonance
- Every hi-fi component generates electromechanical resonance, which translates into signal noise and affects the sound coming from your speakers. To combat the effects of vibration, the A-9110 features a rigid metal chassis that's 1/16" thick. Working together with insulators, unwanted resonance is virtually eliminated.
- Direct Mode
- This playback mode bypasses the tone and Phase Matching Bass Boost circuits. Combined with a refined amp circuit design and short signal path lengths, this helps produce accurate sound quality. Enjoy end-to-end analog music reproduction from your turntable to your speakers.
- Front-Panel Display
- The display panel is designed to be easy to read at a distance, showing the active selected input at a glance.
- Non-Magnetic Speaker Posts
- Speaker cables with your choice of terminal are secured by the onboard binding posts. Each non-magnetic post helps prevent interference and features an easy-to-grip transparent knob. These posts are gold-plated and banana plug-compatible.
