Product description Enjoy high-resolution stereo sound with the Onkyo A-9150 2-Channel 120W Home Theater Power Amplifier. It delivers up to 60W per channel at 4 Ohms and has two optical inputs, two digital coaxial inputs, a dedicated phono input, and five stereo RCA inputs. The A-9150 features an integrated DAC and a front-panel 1/4" headphone jack. - Designed for Enhanced Power Amplification
- In order to deliver a clear and comfortable audio image, sounds of different frequencies should arrive at the listening position simultaneously. The power amplification circuits in the A-9150 feature topology that's designed for phase accuracy, wide-spectrum signal reproduction, and natural transient response.
- Enhanced Musicality with Discrete SpectraModule
- The discrete SpectraModule features a slew rate of over 500 V/μs to help produce accurate definition of instruments ranged around a larger and more realistic soundstage.
- Dedicated MM/MC Phono Circuit Board
- The A-9150 features a gold-plated phono input that supports signals from either MM or MC cartridges fitted to your choice of turntable. Its separate phono circuit board has dedicated equalizers served by a customized head amp, which operates in discrete configuration for MC signals. Together with analog power amplification, this phono input design helps express the depth and vitality of music on vinyl.
- High-Current Transformer and Capacitors
- Current influences sound quality; high current is required for a better grip on the speaker transducers, improving control and accuracy. A high-output transformer and two capacitors inside the A-9150 deliver current through discrete output-stage transistors that are kept cool by an aluminum heat sink. This allows the speakers to react nearly instantly, with throw-range controlled for accurate articulation, even through dynamic and complex musical passages.
- DIDRC Filter and 768 kHz / 32-Bit DAC for Natural Sound
- Distortion in the ultra-high-frequency spectrum can have a noticeable impact on the character of audible sound. The DIDRC Filter is designed to completely erase ultra-high-frequency noise. Performance is optimized for digital music with an undistorted frequency response extending above the range of audibility. Combined with a 768 kHz / 32-bit DAC, you can enjoy an enhanced sense of realism from digital sources, with none of the unnatural "synthesized" feeling sometimes produced by digital processing.
- Designed for Enhanced Quality with Reduced Resonance
- Held in place by a flat chassis designed to tame resonance, the digital audio board is isolated from the analog circuitry. The L/R channels are symmetrical to equalize signal path-lengths and minimize stereo playback errors. The coaxial digital inputs, phono input, speaker posts, and RCA line inputs are gold-plated to prevent corrosion and improve connectivity. The A-9150 is finished off with an aluminum front panel and volume control.
- Additional Features
-
- High-current, low-impedance drive
- 192 kHz / 24-bit HD audio playback via digital coaxial input
- Bass, treble, balance control
- AKM AK4452 768 kHz / 32-bit digital-to-analog converter
