Product description Designed by Onkyo in conjunction with Iron Maiden's Steve Harris, the Maiden Audio ED-PH0N3S are a pair of on-ear headphones that have been customized to deliver the clarity and power necessary for listening to rock and metal music. The headphones use 40mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers to deliver clean highs and present midrange, while ported bass sub-chambers aid in representing a deep and muscular bass response.
All in all, these headphones will give you a frequency response of 10 Hz to 27 kHz, doing so at pressure levels of up to 105 dB/mW. The headphones terminate in a 3.5mm plug, though a 1/4" adapter has been provided for use with systems with 1/4" phone jacks. The 5.2' cable, made up of multi-strand conductors sheathed in fabric, end in a contact which foregoes gold for silver, which is considered a most transparent conductor.
