Product description Achieve 4K Ultra HD pass-through with HDR support via HDMI with the Onkyo TX-SR383 7.2-Channel A/V Receiver. It produces up to 80W of power per channel at 8 Ohms for room-filling sound. AccuEQ sound calibration tailors the sound to your room's specific acoustics. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity lets you listen to music wirelessly from your favorite Bluetooth-capable devices. You can also attach a USB drive to the USB port on the front panel to play your stored audio files.
The TX-SR383 is equipped with four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. The HDMI output supports ARC for the reproduction of display-based audio, such as your TV's built-in streaming apps. Its rear-panel easy connection guide will help you connect your receiver quickly and easily. - Multi-Room Audio with Powered Zone 2 Outputs
- Connect a pair of speakers in a separate room to the dedicated Zone 2 speaker outputs to enjoy select audio sources, including analog, AM/FM tuner, and Bluetooth audio. Play a source in either zone, synchronize audio playback in both rooms, or play a different audio source in both zones at the same time, all while retaining a 5.2-channel home theater system in your main room.
- 7.2-Channel Surround Sound
- Enjoy high-resolution movie and game soundtracks through your surround speaker system. The TX-SR383 decodes Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio formats common to Blu-ray discs and select video streaming services. Enhance immersion with front height or surround back speakers for playback of native or upmixed 7.1-channel movie soundtracks.
- HDR & 4K Support via HDMI
- The receiver's HDMI terminals support 4K/60 Hz, HDR10, HLG, BT.2020, and HDCP 2.2. The HDMI output supports Audio Return Channel (ARC) for the reproduction of display-based audio, such as integrated apps.
- Discrete Amplifiers
- The receiver's discrete analog amps are designed to deliver high instantaneous current to the speakers for dynamic audio reproduction.
- Bluetooth Audio Streaming with aptX
- Bluetooth wireless technology sends whatever is playing on your compatible mobile device, laptop, or computer to your home theater. Devices supporting the aptX codec enable CD-like lossless playback.
- AccuEQ Room Acoustic Calibration
- AccuEQ sets speaker parameters, such as distance, output, and crossover, and equalizes them to present your audio free from distortion caused by the acoustics of your room. Just plug in the setup mic after connecting and placing your speakers, follow the on-screen prompts, and enjoy calibrated theater sound.
- Advanced Music Optimizer
- Lossy files, such as MP3s, are convenient, but data lost in the compression process results in comparatively low fidelity. Advanced Music Optimizer technology helps restore lost information for enhanced sound quality with these file types. Touch a key on the remote to enable the Advanced Music Optimizer on a variety of input sources, including Bluetooth and USB.

- A rear-panel USB power output supplies power to select HDMI media streaming devices, allowing you to upgrade your home theater with on-demand network entertainment without additional power cords.
- Audio Playback via USB
- Connect a compatible USB memory device with MP3, WMA, or AAC audio files to the front USB port and use the remote and your display to find and play your albums.
