Product description Operating on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, the OM5P-AC Dual-Band 802.11ac Wireless Access Point from Open-Mesh is designed to provide extensive, high speed, wireless network access. In addition to dual-band functionality, this access point supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi networking standard offering data transfer rates of up to 1.17 Gbps. Inside the access point are two internal dual band antennas producing a power output of up to 19 dBm (79 mw) to cover distances of up to 50' indoors and up to 100' outdoors. Additionally, the OM5P-AC AP comes equipped with a 720 MHz dual-core processor and 128 MB of DRAM to ensure smooth operation under some of the most demanding conditions.
With dual Gigabit PoE compliant Ethernet ports, this Open-Mesh access point can be installed virtually anywhere and doesn't require a standalone power source. Simply utilize one of the many housing options for indoor, outdoor, and even ceiling installation. Once installed the AP and network can be managed using the Open-Mesh mobile app CloudTrax available for both iOS and Android devices. Automated alerts can also be configured to show network status, provide email alerts to notify of network outages and more. - Cloud Managed
- What used to require a dedicated server can now be done through a browser and the free, cloud-based network controller, CloudTrax. CloudTrax is packed with powerful features to meet the demands of IT professionals, yet is easy enough to be deployed by someone with little to no network experience.

That means you can install units like traditional access points, hardwired to the Internet, and add additional units that only require power wherever you need to extend coverage. The access points automatically self form and self heal to provide optimal coverage and performance.
