Product description The VM-200 Video Condenser Stereo Shotgun Microphone from Opteka is a directional microphone that is designed to magnify your target sound while eliminating background noise from video shoots. It can be used attached to a camcorder, DSLR, or a boompole via the cold shoe, or 3/8" and 1/8" threads on the noise reducing suspension system (NRS) shockmount. Powered by a 9V alkaline battery (available separately), the VM-200 mic is built with a two-position pad switch with 0/-10 dB, a high-pass noise filter, and a coiled cable that terminates in a 3.5mm mini-jack connector. The VM-200 Video Condenser Stereo Shotgun Microphone features a frequency response of 40 Hz to 20 kHz and includes extra suspension bands and an outdoor furry windscreen.
