Product description The Optex Redwall-V Series SIP-5030 Outdoor Synthesized PIR Detector with Anti-Masking/Anti-Rotation/Creep Zone offers wide angle-detection for triggering CCTV systems in large areas outside. It has an intelligent detection system that uses data from the ambient environment, such as temperature and illuminance conditions to automatically adjust the sensitivity. In addition, the SIP-5030 system has a separate PIR detector at the bottom of the unit to cover the creep zone area. This second creep zone PIR has an independent output that is separate from the main output and can be used to protect the area around the detector, while the main output can trigger the CCTV system. The detection angle in the main area of the SIP-5030 Detector can be adjusted to easily match a camera's field of view and the unit is also equipped with anti-rotation and anti-masking functions, which can detect vandalism or tampering with the unit. The system offers detection with a long range of up to 300’ and a total of 3 outputs, 2 separate outputs for far and near areas and another for creep zone detection. Multiple outputs are useful for activating video transmission systems and controlling PTZ cameras. - Intelligent detection system with PIR motion sensor used in remote monitored CCTV applications
- Areas of coverage designed to match common fixed camera and lens combinations
- Sensor has a mounting height of between 7.6 and 13'
- System utilizes thermo and luminance sensors that monitor ambient temperature and light levels to reduce false alarms while maintaining optimum sensitivity
- 3-axis accelerometer incorporated to alert of unauthorized reorientation of the device
- Anti-masking feature alerts during unauthorized covering of the sensor windows
- Blanking plates to mask areas of unwanted coverage
- System sensor has a high-grade mirrored optical array with double dual / one quad pyro sensors for the near and far zones, and a separate double dual sensor for creep zone
- Sensor comes equipped with tamper-resistant head adjustments to prevent unauthorized adjustment of the head position
- Patented Double Conductive Shielding blocks RFI and spurious light sources, and minimizes false alarms
- Independent sensitivity for creep/ near and far detection zones with high, medium, and low sensitivity settings
- Independent N.C. and N.O. outputs for main areas
- Adjustable alarm interval time
- IP65 rated polycarbonate housing
