Product description

The Optex SIP-3020/5 Superior Intelligent Outdoor PIR Detector with Anti-Masking / Anti-Rotation / Adjustable Creep Zone is designed for mid-range outdoor detection applications to trigger video transmission systems and PTZ camera control. The detector has an intelligent detection system that uses data from ambient environment, such as temperature and illuminance conditions to automatically adjust the sensitivity. It is also equipped with anti-rotation and anti-masking functions, which can detect vandalism or tampering with the unit. The SIP-3020/5 has an additional PIR detector on the bottom to cover the area just below the unit. This PIR detector on the bottom has an independent output separate from the main detector, while the detection angle in the main area of the SIP-3020/5 system can be adjusted to easily match a camera's field of view.
  • Intelligent detection system with PIR motion sensor used in remote monitored CCTV applications
  • Areas of coverage designed to match common fixed camera and lens combinations
  • Sensor has a mounting height of between 7.6 and 13.0'
  • Sensor has a high-grade, mirrored optical array with a separate creep-zone sensor (double dual pyro-elements), and 3 dual pyro sensors with patented double conductive shielding to block RFI and spurious light sources, thereby minimizing false alarms
  • Sensor includes high, medium, and low sensitivity settings for near-field, far-field, and creep zone monitoring zones
  • With automatic sensitivity management, the system utilizes thermo and luminance sensors that monitor ambient temperature and light levels to reduce false alarms while maintaining optimum sensitivity
  • Advanced detection algorithm
  • Anti-vandalism functions including anti-masking and anti-rotation function with 3-axis accelerometer to alert of unauthorized reorientation of the device
  • Anti-masking feature alerts during unauthorized covering of the sensor windows
