The multi-coated optical system provides bright, sharp images with a generous field of view: 5.5° or 288' at 1000 yards. The rubber-armored housing is waterproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging in cold weather. Three-stage twist-up rubber eyecups and a forgiving interpupillary distance accommodate users who wear eyeglasses. For viewing art and exhibits, this binocular focuses as close as 6.6 feet. The Oregon 4 measures just 4.2 x 4.5", so it fits easily in a pocket, bag, or glove box, and it weighs just 10.6 ounces.
