Product description A Guide to Birding with Spotting Scopes Read More With a broad zoom range and large objective lens, the Opticron 15-45x60 Adventurer II WP Spotting Scope is an ideal companion for the trail, range, blind, deck, or patio. Outfitted with a BAK4 Porro prism optical path and fully multi-coated optics, users are presented with bright and clear high-contrast views with accurate color rendition and a rich depth of field, even in low or challenging light conditions, for a truly immersive experience. Its eyepiece is set at a 45° angle to the optical tube to place the user's head in a comfortable viewing position whether they are standing, sitting, or lying prone, and a rotating tripod collar allows precise eyepiece placement for optimum comfort and convenience.Designed to withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the chassis is made of both an impact- and corrosion-resistant ABS plastic and aluminum alloy to produce a body that is strong and durable without being excessively heavy. It is wrapped in a protective slip-resistant rubber armor for sure handling during setup and breakdown. The optical tubes are O-ring sealed to be waterproof and nitrogen filled to be resistant to internal fogging when moving between extreme temperature changes and environmental conditions.
