Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More Opticron built their black 8x56 T4 Trailfinder Binocular with a magnification and objective lens size combination that makes it a great optic for extreme low-light use such as during the predawn and dusk hours, or when viewing into dense brush and bushes; with performance enhancing features to improve views in all light.These features begin with phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms and broadband fully multi-coated optics that work together to deliver bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate color rendition through the entire visible spectrum. An exceptionally long eye relief and ultra-wide exit pupil, when combined with the optical performance, present the user with an immersive observational experience without vignetting, even as the light fades.The chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy, and is nitrogen-filled to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging. A protective black rubber armor provides a slip-resistant grip, with textured palm pads added for improved grip security in cold and wet weather. A large center focus wheel and convenient thumb-operated diopter adjustment ring on the right eyepiece enable precision focusing — even while wearing gloves. The T4's large objectives increase the weight, particularly on the objective end, so for convenience the binocular is tripod mountable with an optional adapter for hands-free use to limit vibrations or eliminate arm fatigue.
