Product description

The Optoma TX7156 is 3.2 lb mighty mite of a projector that's less than three inches high. But it's got big-projector features like a Texas Instruments DLP imaging panel that produces rich, vivid colors yet doesn't require a cooling fan that needs cleaning and replacing At 3000 lumens and a 2500:1 contrast ratio it also has big projector projection power. It can fill a medium to large sized room with a rich, vivid image. And it can do it in the NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, and SECAM international video signal standards. The onscreen display (OSD) gives you a choice of 22 languages to choose from. And its 100 to 240 volt AC power supply that means it will be operational just about anywhere in the world. The TX7156 is an HDTV projector capable of 720p, 1080i and 1080p in addition to SDTV (standard) and EDTV (enhanced) resolutions. It's also compatible with dozens of PC and Mac display standards. Its Closed Caption capability (from program sources that provide it) helps you include your entire audience including the hearing impaired and people learning English as a foreign language.
3000 ANSI Lumens And a 2500:1 Contrast Ratio With XGA Resolution
  • That's projection power to spare for medium to large sized living rooms, conference rooms and lecture halls even when ambient light can't be totally controlled. Full XGA resolution (1024 by 768) means text is easy to read.
    Ready For Worldwide Use
  • In addition to NTSC (the North American standard) this projector can display video signals in the NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, and SECAM systems. It can also handle SDTV (e.g., 480i), EDTV (e.g., 480p), and HDTV (720p 1080i, 1080p). It's got an auto switching 100 to 240 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply and a 22-language onscreen display (OSD).
Texas Instruments 0.55" DMD DLP Panel With BrilliantColor
  • The panel is where the image is formed in a projector. Texas Instruments is generally acknowledged as the maker of the finest panels. You'll find their Digital Micromirror Display-Digital Light Processing technology in the top projectors of many brands. It's not hard to understand why. BrilliantColor increases color accuracy while it increases color brightness by up to 50 percent. And in addition to red green and blue, its spectrum includes their complements: cyan, magenta and yellow. What's more, DLP projectors require no filters that have to be cleaned and replaced.
IR Remote With Laser Pointer and Mouse
  • Wireless remotes are old news. The TX7156's is another story. It's tricked out with a laser pointer and wireless mouse functions. Imagine scrolling a spreadsheet to the exact numbers you need to emphasize or using the laser to point out a feature in a cathedral you photographed on your European vacation.
Rapid Power-On And Shutdown Save you Time and Money.
  • Need we say more? OK. Rapid Power-On Means you don't waste time (and potentially your audience's time) waiting for the projector to warm up. Rapid Shutdown means you don't have to hang around waiting for the projector to cool. And time being money... well, you get the idea.
Closed Captioning Includes Your Whole Audience
  • This projector can display closed captioning from sources that provide it. CC comes in handy not only for the hard of hearing but also for those learning English as a foreign language. And it can help you get your message across in noisy environments too.
