Product description Enjoy bright images and high dynamic contrast with the Optoma W490 5000-Lumen WXGA DLP Projector. Its native 1280 x 800 resolution displays data and images clearly at various viewing distances, while its 1.48 to 2.35:1 throw ratio allows you to place the projector far from the screen without losing focus. The W490 features VGA, RCA composite video, and three HDMI inputs for connecting different types of devices. Two HDMI inputs are MHL-compatible for wired mirroring of your compatible smart device. The projector includes a VGA cable and an IR remote control for added convenience. - High 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
- Add more depth to your image with a high-contrast ratio. With bright whites and rich blacks, images are more lifelike and text appears crisp and clear.
- 3D Projection
- The W490 can display 3D content from almost any 3D source, including Blu-ray players, broadcasting, and game consoles.
- Integrated Speakers
- The built-in speakers allow audio to accompany your video without having to set up external speakers.
- Energy-Saving Modes
- With different energy-saving modes, you can reduce power consumption by up to 70%. Each energy-saving mode also extends lamp life, lowering the total cost of ownership and reducing maintenance costs and time.
- Auto Power Off
- To help save energy, the Auto Power Off feature automatically turns off the projector after a set time if it is not being used.
- Eco AV Mute
- This feature allows you to direct your audience's attention away from the screen by blanking the image when it's no longer needed, reducing power consumption by up to 70%.
- Vertical Lens Shift
- Vertical lens shift helps to simplify installation by providing a wider range of projector placement possibilities, allowing for more options for position and screen size.
- Four-Corner Adjustment
- Individually warp each corner of the image to create a square image for image stacking, uneven walls, or where projector placement is awkward and an angled installation is required.
- 1.6x Optical Zoom
- A 1.6x zoom enables placement possibilities at a variety of distances from your projection surface. This allows the W490 to replace a number of different legacy projectors in various installations.
- MHL Connectivity
- Connect your compatible smartphone or tablet with a single cable using an MHL connection, allowing you to view presentations, documents, videos, and photos from your device on the big screen.
- BrilliantColor Technology
- BrilliantColor multi-color processing technology helps produce vibrant, natural-looking images.
- Quick Resume
- This feature allows the projector to be instantly powered back on if it is accidentally switched off.
- USB Power
- Use the USB power port to provide power to an HDMI dongle, such as the Optoma WHD200 wireless HDMI device or a Google Chromecast.
- Networking and Control Options
-
- LAN control: Using Crestron RoomView software, you can power on/off, manage, and control up to 250 projectors at the same time from nearly any computer. You can also schedule them to power on/off, control and alter their settings, send emergency text broadcasts, and automatically receive updates for lamp maintenance.
- RS-232: The W490 includes a set of RS-232 commands, allowing it to be integrated into nearly any control system.
- AMX compatibility: Dynamic discovery protocol is built into the projector for installation within AMX control systems.
