Product description The Osprey 827e Video Capture Card from Osprey lets you input up to two video streams simultaneously. Either stream can be SD or HD in analog or digital. One card input features a DIN 1.0/2.3 coax connecter that can be adapted (adapter sold separately) to BNC for 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, or composite BNC inputs . The second input connector is DVI-I, which can input VGA, HDMI, or DVI signals via the included adapters. The Osprey 827e features SimulStream. It supports various video pre-processing features such as VBI/VANC closed-caption extraction/on-screen rendering, logo/bitmap overlay, scaling, cropping, de-interlacing, inverse telecine, ProcAmp control, Vector Scope, and Lumi Scope. - Supported Video Formats
- Osprey 827e supports 3G-SDI (424M), HD-SDI (292M), SD-SDI (259M), DVB-ASI MPTS/SPTS (Windows only), DVI, HDMI, Composite/CVBS, Component, S-Video, and VGA/XVGA.

- Osprey SimulStream
- SimulStream allows each input to produce multiple parallel output streams with completely independent settings for color space, cropping, scaling, closed caption and overlays facilitating simultaneous delivery to multiple applications.
- Signal Loss
- In the event of signal loss, the Osprey card automatically replaces the lost video with color bars with options for text overlay and audio tones. This feature helps prevent unplanned stoppage of downstream applications upon signal loss.
- Driver Support
- 827e supports Microsoft DirectShow API and Linux V4L2
