Product description Styled in a black finish, the Applause Balladeer AB2412 from Ovation is a 12-string acoustic/electric guitar featuring a single-cutaway, mid-depth Lyrachord body with a spruce top, as well as quarter-sawn scalloped spruce bracing in an "X" pattern. As is the case with all guitars in the Applause Balladeer series, this model excels in providing projection across the stage, giving you a clear, balanced tone by means of its standard Ovation body style and resonant top. A rosewood bridge rounds out the body, in addition to a rosette patterned in the classic Applause Chevron style. Its nato neck has a 25.25" scale and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with a 10" radius, demarcated by abalone dot inlays. Chrome tuning machines secure the strings at the headstock.
Turn your attention this guitar's built-in electronics and you'll notice an Ovation Slimline pickup and OP-4BT preamp system, which sports a three-band EQ, a volume control, a low battery indicator, and an onboard tuner to boot.
