Product description Designed for small office environments and protected with FIPS 140-2 encryption, the NEOs StorageLoader Rackmountable Fibre Channel Tape Drive from Overland provides up to 120TB of backup and archiving storage in a compact 1U form factor. Built with eight cartridge slots, two magazines, one mailslot, and one tape drive, the NEOs StorageLoader has an 8 Gb Fibre Channel host interface, as well as an LC Optical FC connector. It supports LTO-7, LTO-6, and LTO-5 tape drives, has a maximum data transfer rate of 2.7TB per hour, and is rated for up to 2 million hours of functionality with a mean time to repair time of up to 10 minutes. Additionally, remote management allows users to control the backup/archive process from virtually anywhere, while removable cartridge magazines help reduce administrative overhead by making media handling more efficient and reliable.
The NEOs StorageLoader is a good choice for those who wish to create remote office locations to protect important data and move it offsite, while also providing automated data backup. It operates using 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz and includes a library with one tape drive, a US & European power cord, and rackmount hardware.
