Product description Available for download, the Overloud Comp G is an emulation of a VCA master-bus compressor renowned for two aspects, its relative transparency, and its ability to glue, gel, and otherwise cohere your mix. This emulation goes further than other simulations—and even the hardware itself—by adding a wet/dry knob for parallel compression, built-in mid/side processing, low-pass filtering on the sidechain, and continuously variable time-constants and ratios. You'll also note the dedicated gain and output knobs, which do not appear on many other emulations.
This software operates with low CPU. In fact, you can engage up to 1000 instances on a MacBook Pro Retina. Multilevel undo/redo is offered, as are A/B comparisons. A scribble scrip feature lets you take notes and pin them anywhere on the plug-in's GUI. The Comp G is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and operates in AU, VST, RTAS, and AAX formats. - Key Features at a Glance
