Product description Upgrade the memory in select 2009-2010 Mac Pro systems using the 16GB DDR3 1066 MHz DIMM Memory Module from OWC / Other World Computing. This single memory module features a capacity of 16GB, a clock speed of 1066 MHz, a bus speed of PC-8500, and a 240-pin DIMM form factor. It operates using 1.5V, has timings of 7-7-7-20, a component configuration of 2048M x 72, a module bandwidth of 8.5 GB/s, and is equipped with ECC technology. By offering ECC (Error Checking and Correcting) technology, this RAM will help your workstation encounter fewer errors that can corrupt data sets and introduce system issues. Additionally, this memory module is equipped with an Apple specified thermal sensor, which ensures that the RAM maintains a safe thermal operating range. OWC p/n OWC1333D3MPE8GB (8GB modules) and OWC1333D3MPE16G (16GB modules) require that all installed modules be of the same p/n OWC 8GB and/or 16GB modules. Other existing Apple or 3rd party 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB modules are not supported for use with this module and need to be removed when this module is added. Compatibility - Mac Pro (March 2009)
