Read More With a 2TB storage capacity, the Mercury Electra 3G 2.5" Serial-ATA 7mm SSD from OWC allows you to store large files including 4K multimedia content, RAW photos, documents, and much more with ease. With a 2.5" form factor and SATA 3 Gb/s interface this SSD is compatible with most computer configurations. Global wear leveling and static data refresh technologies help to increase the life of the drive as well as reduce the chances stored data becomes corrupted. Once installed this OWC solid state drive supports sustained data read speeds of up to 250 MB/s and sustained data write speeds of up to 230 MB/s to ensure data travels to and from the drive in a timely manner. - Global wear leveling algorithms automatically distribute data evenly and manage program/erase count, maximizing SSD lifespan
