Read More zbqtabtwbu The 4TB Aura Solid-State Drive and Envoy Upgrade Kit from OWC / Other World Computing is an upgrade kit for the Late 2013 Mac Pro that lets you increase the size of the internal SSD and use the old drive as an external unit. The kit includes a 4TB Aura SSD featuring the same PCIe 2.0 interface as the Mac Pro and four Sandforce SF2281 controllers with 7% over provisioning. The SSD offers up to 730 MB/s read and 698 MB/s write speed. The kit also includes an envoy Pro SSD enclosure, allowing you to easily repurpose the factory-installed Mac Pro SSD as an aluminum USB 3.0 external drive for optimal portability. Data can be transferred to and from the enclosure quickly and efficiently with support for data transfer rates up to 500 MB/s over a micro-B USB 3.0 port. The enclosure has an rMBP design with an aluminum finish and comes with non-skid rubber feet. It also provides silent, fanless operation. - Innovative and Dependable
