Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More Boost your storage capacity with the 8TB ThunderBay 4 RAID Four-Drive SSD with Dual Thunderbolt 3 Ports from OWC. Equipped with four 2TB solid-state drives, this four-bay external storage system boasts read/write speeds up to 1,154 MB/s. ThunderBay 4 comes equipped with two Thunderbolt 3 ports and a DisplayPort 1.2 port, ideal for daisy-chaining multiple Thunderbolt 3 devices or handling multi-stream compressed 4K video. Compatible with both macOS and Windows, the fan-cooled ThunderBay 4 supports RAID modes 0, 1, 4, 5, and 10, and it comes preconfigured in RAID 4 mode. - Software RAID Support
- Use each drive independently or in the RAID configuration of your choice for the optimal balance of performance and data-redundancy. This ThunderBay 4 model is preconfigured in RAID 4 mode using SoftRAID for macOS. Setting up a RAID volume for Windows requires the use of the Disk Management application.
