Product description The Envoy USB 3.0 SSD Enclosure from Other World Computing is an external enclosure that is designed to house the original SSD found in select 11" and 13" MacBook Air (Mid 2012) models. This enclosure connects via an included USB 3.0 cable and lets you transfer the contents on the stock drive to your new drive. With USB bus-powered support, it draws power from the port. Furthermore, the aluminum body protects and passively cools the drive. Envoy Pro Features - USB 3.0 interface is backwards compatible with USB 2.0
