Product description The Mercury On-The-Go Power Adapter from Other World Computing is an AC power adapter not included standard with most OWC drives. Designed to be bus-powered, the compatible drives don't normally need an additional power adapter; however some older computers can't provide the proper bus power necessary to power such drives. Also, some 2.5" hard drives require more power than the USB or FireWire bus can support. - Compatible OWC Products
