Product description With a variety of connection options Mercury On-the-Go Pro 1TB Hard Drive from Other World Computing can easily be connected to a variety of computer configurations. This mobile hard drive features FireWire 800/400 and USB 3.0 ports and comes compatible with both Windows and Mac based computers. Whether connecting via the FireWire or USB ports, users also benefit from near silent operation as this drive comes with a fanless design. The Mercury On-the-Go Pro comes pre-formatted for the Mac OS X operating system and requires a simple reformat to be used on Windows PCs. Regardless of the OS it is being used on users can also take advantage of both backup and utility software simplifying the process of creating system backups. - Compact and Versatile
- The Bus powered OWC Mercury On-The-Go drive includes both FireWire 800 and USB 3.0 connectivity making it both compact and versatile.
