Product description The NewerTech eSATA to USB 3.0 Adapter from OWC offers high-bandwidth USB 3.0 performance and provides SuperSpeed data rates of up to 5 Gb/s. It comes with a plug-and-play option, where you connect your eSATA drive enclosure to the adapter and then plug the adapter into the computer's USB 3.0 port. Note: The adapter can be used to connect an eSATA equipped external drive to a USB 3.0 port on a computer. It does not work in reverse and will not allow a USB 3.0 equipped external drive to connect to an eSATA port on a computer. This adapter does not support port multiplication - Supports SATA revision 3.x
