Product description The 2 speaker package of OWI Two Source, 6.5" Amplified Drop Ceiling Speakers with Volume Control is a self-powered speaker/amplifier combination on a 2 x 2 tile with backcan, and delivers up to 40 watts of amplification directly to the speaker. Each powered speaker can drive up to three additional non-amplified speakers, and one line can be daisy chained and drive up to 10 self-amplified speakers. The amplifier includes bass and treble controls for sonic flexibility. In this 2 speaker set, one speaker is loaded with the amplifier and one unamplified speaker is fed by it.
The amplifier is built onto a OWI IC6 in-ceiling speaker and inside a backan onto a 2x2 tile, and it features 2 line-level input sources. The set is designed to feature lower noise and protection from shorts and overheating. A 15 volt DC level 5 power supply and volume control are included.
