Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More rszbsuxayeyrv Add the speed and storage capabilities of RAID to your Windows, Mac, or Linux system using the MiniPro RAID V2 2TB 2-Bay USB 3.0 RAID Array from Oyen Digital. This hard drive array is a powerful storage management device with micro-USB 3.0, FireWire 800, and eSATA connectivity options and data transfer speeds of up to 264.5 MB/s. A variety of RAID storage management options are offered, including RAID 0 (striping), RAID 1 (mirroring), JBOD (independent disks), and Span (non-RAID merged drives).
To help protect this array and ensure its overall operational status, it has been built within a rugged metal housing which not only helps provide protection against impacts and drops, but also acts as a heatsink for silent, passive cooling. Furthermore, a hard drive spin-down feature helps to ensure efficient operations by reducing power consumption. When your computer enters sleep mode, the MiniPro RAID spins down to minimize power consumption.
While this 2-bay RAID array has a capacity of 2TB, please bear in mind that it's usable capacity may vary depending on the RAID mode selected. For example, users who choose to configure this drive as RAID 1 will only have 1TB of space available because of RAID 1's data mirroring configuration. The array comes formatted as exFAT and pre-configured in JBOD mode. Switching between the different modes is done using the integrated mode switches on the hardware controller.
The MiniPro RAID V2 may be powered using the FireWire bus or the included AC adapter. Also included is a USB 3.0 cable, a FireWire 800 cable, and an eSATA cable. Protection is provided by a limited 2-year warranty. General Features - Interface: 1 x micro-USB 3.0, 2 x FireWire 800, 1 x eSATA
