Product description The PAG 9965LD Paglight Camera Light with LED, Dimmer (D-Tap Lead, 20") is a 12V broadcast/ENG/EFP lighting unit. Interchangeable plug-in lamp-holders that fit at the back of the lamp body allow various types and powers of lamps to be fixed without handling the lamp. Its Dimmer Unit can be interchanged for halogen or HMI lamp-holders as required.
The LED unit gives an output of 850 lux at 6.6’ (2m) with 11W of power consumption. You can control the output to produce a steady transition from spot to flood. Its dimming facility gives you precise control over light intensity. Light intensity can also be controlled by using the spot and flood feature of the reflector. Paglight Camera Light unit reflectors flood out to 62° from a spot angle of 22.6°.
The LED version focuses the output of the emitters using an integrated bulls-eye lens suspended in the parabolic reflector in order to achieve light intensity over long distances. Color temperature of the output is a perfect blend for daylight. The Paglight Camera Light unit dissipates heat from the finned emitter probe using heat-transfer chambers instead of heavy aluminum heat sinks. Thus, the lamp head and the LED unit can be handled comfortably even after long hours of use.
Every Paglight Camera Light unit consists of a LED Dimmer Unit, a Power Base with lead and connector, a camera-shoe plate for fitting the camera, and a male-to-male stud adaptor (1/4” BSW), for fixing the shoe-plate to the Power Base. The Power Base for mounting the light to the camera is a low profile, pre-wired, hot-shoe base.
