Product description The PPB20S Press Patch Box Stereo from Palmer is an audio signal distributor that features separate inputs for microphone and line signals. An input amplifier with a transformer-balanced input provides a wide and dynamic range to this Press Patch Box. It has a total of 20 transformer-balanced XLR/M outputs with separate paired driver circuits for connecting video cameras and recording equipment. There is a nominal output level of +4 dBu at 600 Ohms and channels 19 and 20 have phono sockets and TRS jack sockets for balanced/unbalanced signals.
The Press Patch Box Stereo has two line inputs, one for the odd channels on the upper row of outputs, and one for the even channels on the lower row of outputs.When more than 20 outputs are required, additional Press Patch Boxes can be connected to the rear bus in/out socket. Signal monitoring is provided by an adjustable headphone amplifier and a 10 LED strip displaying a range of -40 to +10 dB. There is an integrated shielded power supply unit and an extra DC input allows you to connect the Press Patch Box to a battery source as well.
