Product description High quality, power and versatility characterize this DZ870UK 1-Chip 8,500 Lumen DLP Projector (without Lens) from Panasonic. Delivering a powerful 8500 lumens, it is well suited for use even in fully-lit rooms as well rear projection applications. Housed in a dust-resistant shroud, the optical block will retain its brilliance and clarity for longer periods, as well as reducing maintenance and repairs. With a unique dual-lamp drive system in a compact body, boasting deeper, richer blacks, and a more detailed, textured image, the projector is optimal for businesses, medical applications and larger venues. The dynamic iris technology with scene-linking aperture mechanism achieve 10,000:1 contrast ratio while maintaining brightness. 3D capability, portrait projection (requiring additional lamp), and multi-screen projection further add to the DZ870's flexibility. - Bright, 10000:1 Contrast & 8500 LM From a Compact Body
- The projector's dual lamp drive allows it to be a compact size. Lamps run on 420 W each, to provide a combined 8500 LM brightness.
- Dynamic RGB Booster Enhances Brightness and Color Reproduction
- The RGB Booster achieves high image quality with levels of color reproduction and brightness that make each color stand out. It combines Panasonic's proprietary Vivid Color Control technology with a Lamp Modulation Drive System, producing bright, vivid colors. Images are analyzed frame by frame, and scene-linking and real-time modulation are used to achieve high brightness and rich color reproduction.
- Dust-Resistant Optical Block Housing
- The optical block, the heart of the projector, is sealed to resist the effects of dust and other particles in the air, enabling easy removal of air filters.
- Rear Lamp Replacement
- Rear access to the lamp makes replacement easy, without dismounting the unit.
- Flexible Installation
- The wide adjustment range of the lens is easily adjusted with the remote control. The unit can be rotated 360° vertically to accommodate various installation conditions. The lens-centered design contributes to easy installation.
- DICOM Simulation Mode
- Optimized for medical applications, this imaging mode is similar to DICOM part 14, a medical imaging standard. It reproduces X-ray images with great clarity.
- Multi-Screen Support System
- The Multi-Screen Support System adjusts multiple screens: Edge blending, color matching and multi-screen processor.
Edge Blending: The edges of adjacent screens can be blended and their luminance controlled.
Color Matching: This function corrects for slight variations in the color reproduction range of individual projectors. The PC software assures easy, accurate control.
Multi-Screen Processor: The PT-DZ870 Series projectors can project large, multi-screen images without any additional equipment. Up to 100 units (10 x 10) can be edge-blended at a time.
- Multi-Unit Brightness Control
- Automatically corrects brightness fluctuations between individual projectors when used as a multi-screen system. Up to eight connected projectors can be controlled via a hub, and can be increased to a maximum of 2,048 projectors using the Multi Projector Monitoring & Control software.
- Compatible with Both Passive and Active 3D Projection Systems
- Combining either separate, external 100/120/144 Hz drives with IR emitter and active shutter glasses, or an active filter and passive glasses, for viewing 3D images.
- Geometric Adjustment
- This function adjusts the image for projection onto spherical, cylindrical or other specially shaped screens. You can make adjustments using only the remote control, with no external equipment needed.
