Product description Panasonic's P2StudioPlus Camcorder Studio System brings HD studio production capability to your P2 and DVCPRO camcorders. Compatible with the AJ-HPX3700, AJ-HPX2700, AJ-HPX3000, AJ-HPX200, AND AG-HPX500 P2 cameras, as well as the DVCPRO AJ-HDX900, the P2StudioPlus enables high-quality digital signal transmission at up to 328 feet, along with remote camera control and other professional features. The system is comprised of four main pieces:The AG-BS300 Digital Base Station is the nucleus of the system. The base station connects to the camera using optional studio cables to allow transmission of HD digital images, return images, tally signals, mic signals and genlock signals over distances of 25, 50, or 100 meters, depending on cable length.The AG-CA300G Camera Adapter, lightweight and compact, mounts directly on the back of the camcorder, boosts mobility and allows the use of various professional batteries (with optional battery plate).The AJ-RC10 is an advanced remote control unit that offers enhanced controls of the system's base station, along with an extended range of up to 90 meters (295 feet) with optional cables. With its "one button per function" capability, the unit lets you see exactly which menus you're using without accessing the camera's menu system. It also includes an SD card slot for saving scene files, as well as a Monitor Out for viewing.The AG-YA500GPJ Viewfinder Interface Box allows tally and return video to be displayed in the ENG viewfinder and mounts directly on the camera. It is compatible with AJ-HVF21G, AJ-VF20WBP, AJ-VF15BP, and AJ-CVF100G Panasonic viewfinders. - Panasonic AG-CA300GPJ Camera Adapter The Panasonic AG-CA300GPJ Camera Adapter is an integral piece of the 300Studio and P2Studio Camcorder Studio Systems. Mounting to the back of a compatible P2 or DVCPRO HD camcorder, the unit is then attached via optional studio cables to the system's base station, allowing transmission of HD digital images, return images, tally signals, mic signals and genlock signals over distances of up to 100 meters (328 feet). Lightweight and compact, the AG-CA300GPJ boosts mobility and allows the use of various professional batteries (with optional battery plate). This adapter is compatible with AG-HPX300 series, AG-HPX500 series, AJ-HPX3700, AJ-HPX2700, AJ-HPX3000, AJ-HPX2000/2100, AJ-HDX400 and AJ-HDX900 cameras. UPC: 791871305010
- Panasonic AG-BS300PJ Digital Base Station The AG-BS300PJ Digital Base Station is the nucleus of Panasonic's P2Studio and 300Studio camcorder systems. The base station connects to the system's AG-CA300G camera adapter via 2 BNC cables and bundled power cable to allow transmission of HD digital images, return images, tally signals, mic signals and genlock signals over distances of up to 100 meters (328 feet), depending on choice of cable length. Optional Studio300 cables are available in 25, 50, and 100 meters.

- Up to 70 watts of power can be supplied to the camcorder,* and a compact monitor and servo zoom can also be driven. 1
Please Note: *Power can be supplied only when the AG-BS300 Base Station is driven by an AC power source. A separate power cord is also required between the AG-BS300 Base Station and the AG-CA300G Camera Adaptor. Other manufacture's power cords which Panasonic verified are recommended to use. close - Supports both AC (100 to 240 V) and DC (12V) power supplies. - Dedicated switches are provided for direct operation of some of the camera unit's frequently used functions.
- By switching to the recorder mode, the camcorder can be controlled directly through the VTR operation switch. Recording can also be disabled using a switch.
- Frequently used menus can be set by accessing the menus on the LCD panel of the unit. It is also possible to display the time code on the LCD panel.
- Downconverted images with characters are output from the VIDEO OUT connector. The menus can be operated on the main unit of the camcorder by connecting the external monitor.
- Scene file data can be stored on an SD memory card.
- Panasonic AG-YA500G Viewfinder Interface Box The Panasonic AG-YA500G Viewfinder Interface Box is designed to work with professional Panasonic camcorders when tally and return video need to be displayed in the ENG viewfinder, specifically in 300Studio and P2Studio camcorder systems. The unit mounts directly on the camera, and is compatible with AJ-HVF21G, AJ-VF20WBP, AJ-VF15BP, and AJ-CVF100G Panasonic viewfinders. UPC: 791871305034
