Product description

Enjoy bright images in most settings with the white Panasonic PT-RZ570 5400-Lumen WUXGA Laser DLP Projector. Its 5400 lumens of brightness and 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio will work together to overcome light in most rooms and provide detail in dark areas of the image. It sports a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA native resolution for viewing detailed video, pictures, or data. The 1.46 to 2.94:1 throw ratio offers a range of throw distances for focused images from nearly anywhere in the room.

The PT-RZ570 features DVI-D, composite video, two VGA, and two HDMI inputs to connect to nearly any device. One VGA input can alternatively act as an output to daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays. The projector is controllable via the included wireless remote control, DIGITAL LINK via Ethernet, or RS-232 with various control software options.

DLP SOLID SHINE Laser Phosphor Projection

    Designed to Produce Bright Images
  • The laser light source works with DLP technology and the four-segment Quartet Color Harmonizer color wheel for enhanced brightness and color accuracy.
Engineered for a Natural White Balance
  • The Quartet Color Harmonizer is designed to capture a wide section of the color gamut, allowing white to be reproduced more realistically on the screen.
    Long-Term Picture Quality
  • Thanks to the laser light source there are no lamps to replace, and image color and brightness degrade gradually and in a linear fashion, helping to reduce maintenance hassle and retain image quality longer.
    Rich Color Enhancer
  • Rich Color Enhancer offers a Dynamic Mode setting to increase image brightness. Graphic Mode/Standard Mode adjust color-wheel timing to produce deeper, richer colors in rooms where maximum brightness isn't necessary.

Designed for Enhanced Brightness and Image Quality

    Dynamic Light Control
  • The projector directly modulates laser power output to enable high contrast while reducing power consumption. Digitally controlled frame-by-frame scene-linking modulation helps ensure precise light output adjustment, and a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio is achieved even when bright and dark scenes suddenly or frequently interchange.
Daylight View Basic Produces Sharp Images in Bright Environments
  • Panasonic's Daylight View Basic technology helps the projector produce sharp, easily viewed images by enhancing detail, particularly in dark areas of the image that are normally difficult to see in brightly lit rooms. A built-in sensor measures ambient light while Daylight View Basic adjusts halftone color and brightness according to the surrounding level of illumination.
Detail Clarity Processor 3 Helps Sharpen Details
  • This Panasonic circuit is designed to optimize the sharpness of each image based on the super-high, high, medium, and low frequency components of the extracted image information for enhanced realism.
    DICOM Simulation Mode
  • The PT-RZ570 offers a DICOM Simulation Mode that allows the projector to simulate the results of devices compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standardized display function, for display of grayscale images. The DICOM Simulation Mode, which supports both Blue and Clear Base, adjusts the gradation between the minimum and the maximum luminance, so gradation is distributed optimally. This feature is optimized for displaying medical images such as X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs, which makes the projector useful for non-diagnostic purposes such as lectures, academic meetings, and hospital conferences. This feature is recommended for use in medical schools for training and educational use only.

Low-Maintenance Design

    Dust-Resistant, Hermetically Sealed Optical Block
  • The optical block of the projector is hermetically sealed to prevent brightness degradation from dust intrusion. Tested for dusty environments with 0.15mg of particulate matter per cubic meter, the PT-RZ570 helps ensure consistent and long-lasting image quality for up to 20,000 hours without maintenance.
    Integrated Cooling System
  • Heat-pipe cooling for the laser light source and a heat sink for the DMD module help keep images crisp and bright while reducing fan speed, lowering noise levels and minimizing distractions in quiet classrooms.

Ease-of-Installation Features

    Lens Shift and 2x Zoom
  • The 2x zoom and joystick-operated lens shift provides flexibility for installation in different rooms and for projection on different screen sizes. To produce a 100" diagonal widescreen image, the projection distance ranges from approximately 10.8 to 22'.
DIGITAL LINK Connectivity for Single-Cable Video and Control
  • DIGITAL LINK supports the transmission of uncompressed Full HD video and control commands through a single Cat 5e or higher STP cable for distances up to 492'.
    No Warm-Up or Cool-Down Time
  • The laser light source doesn't require any warm-up time, so images appear in roughly one second. There's also no cooling time required when turning the projector off, so it can be repeatedly turned on and off immediately as many times as necessary.
Geometric Adjustment for Specially Shaped Screens
  • Horizontal, vertical, and corner keystone correction adjusts the image shape for clear visibility when projecting off-axis or from an unusual angle. Curved Screen Correction allows for the projection of virtually distortion-free images onto curved or cylindrical surfaces.
    Silent Operation Mode (29 dB)
  • A variety of technologies, including the cooling system, reduced light output, and color wheel spin control, combine to keep fan noise down to 29 dB in Silent Mode (or 35 dB in Normal Mode), so the sound of the cooling fan is hardly noticeable.
    Auto Screen Image Rotation
  • Images are automatically rotated depending on installation orientation—upside-down on the ceiling or set on a table—using a built-in angle sensor.
    360° Rotation
  • The PT-RZ570 can project in any direction vertically and horizontally, and can be rotated 360° for installation at any angle.
    Edge Blending and Color Matching
  • Adjoining edges in a multi-projector setup can be blended to create a smooth, seamless image. Slight variations in the color reproduction of individual projectors can also be corrected in these applications.
    Art-Net DMX-Compatible
  • The PT-RZ570 is compatible with the Art-Net DMX protocol for lighting management, allowing the projector to be connected to a lighting console for remote control.
    Fade In and Fade Out
  • Digital laser output power modulation technology enables a fade-in/fade-out function for smoother presentation.
    Eco Management System
  • A variety of Eco Management options are accessible by pushing a button on the remote. Enabling these where possible reduces energy consumption and extends operational life.
    Picture-in-Picture Capability
  • Two different image sources can be simultaneously displayed on a single screen, such as via HDMI1 and HDMI2 or DIGITAL LINK.
