Product description Maximize uptime and make sure you always have access to your mission-critical video data with the 48TB VideoXpert E1-VXS Enterprise Storage Server from Pelco. Designed for use with your VideoXpert system, this high-density, high-availability recording platform captures, stores, and serves video using the RAID 6 storage configuration to provide double-parity protection of recorded data. The hard drive bay is cooled by high-capacity redundant fans to ensure that the drives are kept at an optimal operating temperature while fully redundant power supplies guard against power supply failure.
The VideoXpert Storage server's operating system is contained in an SSD, freeing more space for video and maximizing performance and throughput. The RAID array's HDDs are front loading and hot swappable, making it easy to remove and replace failed drives. The server is designed to maintain performance levels in both normal and RAID error conditions to prevent dips in performance. The E1-VXS includes the dedicated VideoXpert Enterprise software, complete with a 3-year upgrade plan and Pelco support. The hardware platform does not require per-channel licensing and there are no recurring costs associated with recording cameras.
VideoXpert Storage maximizes support for recording groups within VideoXpert. It allows you to configure pre- and post-event recording periods within VideoXpert, so that you capture the appropriate amount of video for any event. You can also configure "bump-on-alarm" recording schedules. The server can be set to operate using unicast or multicast streams, which makes for easy integration into your surveillance network. VideoXpert Storage also supports failover and redundant recording schemes, ensuring your video remains available even if a single server in the cluster fails. Finally, the E1-VXS is ONVIF Profile S compliant, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of third-party IP and Pelco Optera cameras. - Recording throughput of up to 450 Mb/s (300 streams) for write-intensive applications
