Product description The ENC5516 16-Channel H.264 Direct-Attached Video Encoder from Pelco is built to provide direct-attached support for analog cameras on the Digital Sentry network video recorder (NVR) platform. It also provides support for IP migration. The encoder unit is a convenient replacement for existing DVRs and lets customers leverage their existing analog wiring infrastructure.The encoder is used for capturing the BNC connections from other recording systems. Directly attach up to four ENC5516s through supplied cables to one DSSRV to accommodate up to 64 analog cameras. Addition of ENC5516 encoder to your DSSRV gives an integrated, high-performance IP migration platform. Note: The encoder requires an ENC5400-4PORT capture card (sold separately). - Provides direct-attached video support for Digital Sentry Network Video Recorder (sold separately)
