Product description The 8060 Rechargeable LED Flashlight Gen.3 from Pelican was developed in conjunction with the Los Angeles Police Department to produce a functional and practical, full-size everyday duty light. Its output is digitally regulated for consistent beam intensity throughout the battery charge with a low output of 25 lumens for reading or tasks, and a high of 803 lumens for search operations or disorienting an adversary. The easy-to-use body switch allows for momentary or constant-on activation , plus access to the disorientating strobe and flashing signal modes. It also allows users to program the switching function to tailor the light's performance to their personal preferences.The Xenoy polymer housing is temperature, corrosion, and impact resistant, to give the light a long life of dependable service. Its handle has a deeply molded non-slip grid pattern and an octagonal anti-roll shape. Additionally, the housing features heat-dissipating fins at the base of the head assembly for long-duration, use without overheating. For added versatility in the field, the light will run on four 'C' cell alkaline batteries if the rechargeable battery discharges before it can be recharged. With the alkaline batteries, the output and runtimes will be affected. The light fits securely into the included 110VAC wall charger, and charges the battery in the light. - Light Performance
