Product description With Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass, multicoated elements, and a waterproof housing, the Pentax 8x42 Monocular offers impressive optical performance and can become a useful companion even in adverse weather conditions. Its lenses deliver crisp images with true color, high contrast, edge-to-edge clarity, and improved brightness and resolution, thanks to multiple anti-reflection coatings. While 8x zoom delivers optimal low-jitter magnification that fits a multitude of situations, the larger-than-average aperture increases image brightness even in low-light conditions. In addition to observing distant objects, the device can also serve as a magnifier for studying your collectibles using the included magnifier stand. To add versatility to the device, its housing is made of metal and features waterproof performance. It features rubberized armoring and knurled rings for a non-slip grip and offers a rubber twist-up eyecup to accommodate wearers of eyeglasses.
