Also, it utilizes both the HD PENTAX coating for limiting flare and ghosting for excellent contrast in your images as well as a Super Protect coating to ensure the lens elements aren't easily damaged or scratched.
Smooth, quiet autofocus is possible with the use of a direct current (DC) motor and it has the Quick-shift focus system for quickly switching to manual focus. The lens also has ten seals as part of the all-weather resistant construction, limiting potential damage from water, moisture, and dust.
