Perfect Eyes
• Dedicated solely to enhancing the look of eyes in portraits, Perfect Eyes features a series of preset effects and automated controls to help remove dark circles and red-eye, add catchlights, sharpen details in and around the eye, and even enlarge the eyes for a more polished, professional look. Automatic adjustment capabilities take into account subject's facial features, gender, and age in order to intelligently apply any edits, while more personalized control is available through the use of preset effects for applying distinct edits, such as removing squinting or dark circles.
  
  Preset Effects:
  • Morning Coffee offers general eye enhancement and sharpening, removes dark circles beneath the eyes, and slightly enlarges the shape of the eye to give the sense of alertness.
  • Raccoon Eyes greatly reduces very dark circles under a subject's eyes and also sharpens and enhances general details around the eye.
  • Good Night's Sleep applies gentle sharpening to eyes and reduces dark circles for a natural, subtle appearance.
  • Gentle Children reduces dark circles and subtly enhances and sharpens eye details. Additionally, eyes are slightly enlarged to compensate for squinting that is common in photographs of children's eyes.
  • Natural Catchlight applies a soft, diffuse light quality to the subjects as well as general eye enhancement and a reflected catchlight in the eyes. Catchlight style and intensity can be adjusted to suit the subject.
  • Eagle Eyes removes dark circles beneath the eyes and applies a strong amount of sharpening to the eye details, which is especially beneficial to older and male eyes.

Perfect Skin
• Dedicated to improving the look of skin in portraits, Perfect Skin offers a series of preset effects, automated controls, and slider-based adjustments to improve skin tones, remove blemishes, adjust the look of faces, and whiten teeth. Intelligent adjustments use facial recognition to automatically recognize different skin types and apply a series of corrections for general enhancement. A series of preset effects can also be used to correct specific issues due to lighting or other subject characteristics, and individual control over makeup effects, lighting, and clarity are also available. Additionally, sliders can be used to smooth skin using three different methods, remove blemishes quickly and easily, and tone the subject's face or whole body with five toning options.

  • Intelligent Auto applies gentle enhancement to all facial types, making it ideal for a variety of skin types and group portraits.
  • Clear Skin reduces acne and other blemishes while maintaining the appearance and detail of pores for a natural look. Individual adjustments are possible for fine-tuning the results based on different skin types.
  • Sheer Coverage adds gentle, overall coverage to blemishes while smoothing the skin for a clean appearance.
  • High School Portraits increases overall detail, whitens teeth, and reduces both blemishes and shine to suit subjects photographed under traditional portrait lighting.
  • Rugged Skin enhances the natural details of a man's face by applying gentle overall enhancements, as well as sharpening details in eyebrows and beards to produce a thicker, more rugged look.

Perfect Exposure
• Dedicated to correcting exposure issues, as well as for enhancing general contrast and brightness, Perfect Exposure offers a series of presets to solve common exposure errors and produce more natural-looking images. An automatic exposure function analyzes the overall image to intelligently adjust brightness for balanced exposure, while more specialized presets can be used to correct specific issues, such as overly dark imagery or photos taken in haze or at night. Additionally, a diffused light function can impart a softer lighting quality to an image, and dedicated algorithms are used to maintain accurate and consistent color fidelity as well as a full dynamic range.
  
  Preset Effects:
  • Intelligent Auto analyzes the image in order to produce overall balanced brightness and contrast values.
  • Fix Dark noticeably increases brightness and adjusts contrast, color, and other image parameters to compensate for underexposure.
  • Night Boost also increases brightness and applies other subtle changes to the image to gain increased clarity while maintaining the mood of an image taken during nighttime.
  • Outdoor increases the amount of detail in an image by raising contrast and saturation for greater visual depth to suit subjects recorded in natural light.
  • Dehaze subtly increases brightness and contrast to help cut through haze and increase clarity.
  • Details & Shadows helps to draw more information out of images recorded on overcast days with deep shadows by increasing brightness and fine-tuning contrast for increased detail.
