Product description Control your Philips Hue light bulbs from anywhere in your house using the Hue Wireless Dimmer Switch from Philips. This device can be mounted on a wall using the included self-adhesive wall plate on the back of the switch, enabling you to use the controller like a conventional light switch. Thanks to the switch's control unit being magnetic, it can be removed from the base plate, enabling you to use the dimmer switch as a remote control. The included coin battery has a 3-year lifespan, and the switch can last up to 50,000 clicks.This dimmer switch uses the ZigBee Light Link protocol for wireless connection without requiring an internet connection or a network hub/router. When connected to the Philips Hue Bridge (available for purchase separately), the network can support up to 12 dimmer switches, enabling you to control your lights with multiple switches. In addition, the Philips Hue Bridge allows you to control your lights and create customized schedules with your iOS or Android mobile device via the Philips Hue app. The dimmer switch is compatible with Apple Homekit. - The dimmer switch is battery-powered and requires no installation
- Software for the dimmer switch is upgradable when connected to the Philips Hue Bridge
- When used in conjuction with Philips Hue white ambiance or Philips Hue white and color ambiance products, you can switch between 4 light recipes, or use the Philips Hue app to configure your favorite 4 scenes
