Product description The Pro Gold PG4EPQR Ball Head from Photo Clam is a high capacity, Arca-type ball head that utilizes a lever-lock mechanism to secure an Arca-type camera or lens plate. Capable of supporting up to 110 lb while weighing only 1.3 lb, it features an impressive strength to weight ratio, making it an interesting choice for any photographer.
It terms of functionality, the PG4EPQR is a simple, dual-lock design head that utilizes one primary knob for ball adjustment and a secondary knob to lock or unlock the 360° panning base. The primary ball lock also features an adjustable friction control, which may be set to varying degrees of resistance by twisting the integrated gold thumb screw. Aside from the two primary methods of adjustment there is also a third variable, a second 360° panning base located directly below the quick release clamp. This panning base is an ideal tool for panoramic, architectural, and virtual panorama photographers who require a controlled and centered pan for image capture.
Additionally, the head features 3 separate bubble levels for ensuring precise leveling for each angle. It also utilizes a standard 3/8"-16 bottom mounting thread for compatibility with most standard tripod legs.
