Product description The Photoflex LiteReach Plus is a heavy duty three-section support that allows you to hold a Photoflex LitePanel, umbrella or softbox up to 9.6' above your subject. Shooting outdoors, especially in mid-day sun is a tough contrast situation for the photographer and a hot, physically uncomfortable one for the subject. With separate purchase of the LitePanel Mounting Hardware Kit (PHLPFHK) you'll be able to hold LitePanel frames with diffusion material up to 39 x 72" over your subject to obtain soft, manageable contrast.You can get a similar effect using a large white umbrella in place of the LitePanel. You'll need an optional Multiclamp with Shoe Mount (B&H# PHMCUSM)or a Heavy Duty Swivel (B&H# PHSM) mounted to the LiteReach Plus' 5/8" top stud to hold the umbrella. You can also use these products to support a softbox. With a maximum tubing diameter of 1.37", the LiteReach Plus has enough heft to handle a 15 lb vertical load at its full extension Comfort and ergonomics are key to the LiteReach's design. The large rubberized balance ball allows you to shift the weight of your gear to your hip or to the ground, while two hand grips are located at ideal spots on the shaft to facilitate single-handed or two-handed direction of the LitePanel, umbrella or softbox. - Extra long four section boom pole to facilitate resting the base on the ground using the proprietary Balance Ball technology.
