Product description The Photoflex (Medium, 5' Diameter) OctoDome³ softbox is designed for use with strobes only, with modeling lights up to 500 watts. Its circular design provides diffused light that is as wide as it is tall. It has an internal baffle that eliminates hotspots with smooth, natural light. Its narrow profile gives you more versatility in small rooms.Use this size for 3/4-length portraits of 1 or 2 people. A Series 900 Speed Ring is required for mounting the OctoDome to your light, and is not included. - Quick Release Corners (QRC) relieve pressure on support rods for quick and easy softbox set up and breakdown
- Use both the face and the baffle for the softest, most diffused light
- Use the OctoDome without the face or baffle for a broad, high-contrast light
- Using the included gold and silver panels results in a warmer, more natural image
- OctoDome optional grids provide precise control of light
