Product description The Macro Focusing Rail from Photoseiki is a precise focusing rail designed for fine adjustments of camera-to-subject position as small as 0.02mm along an axis. It is well-suited for focus stacking and can be used for critical applications such as architecture photography. The clamp mount fits Arca-type quick release plates and can support gear as heavy as 77 lb when used with other Photoseiki equipment. Moving the gear along the 4.1" adjustment range is simple with the use of a rotating knob. Adjustments can be made precisely with the use of the scaled base, which features marked intervals at tenths of a centimeter. The mounting plate can be rotated 90° to allow movement control on a second axis, widening the range of possible shots. The rail has an Arca-type base that allows you to mount it to any compatible tripod or stand, and also fits standard equipment via a 3/8"-16 threaded screw mount at the bottom. An adapter for 1/4"-20 screws is included for additional compatibility. The product is made out of machined aluminum and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Note: the rail does not come with the quick release plate for the bottom of your lens, which needs to be purchased separately for use.
