Product description For photographers using long lenses up to 600mm in focal length, the TB-101 Gimbal Head from Photoseiki provides an ideal mount for your tripod. Able to hold up to 100 lb, the TB-101 is a sturdy gimbal machined from solid 7075 anodized aluminum. Its Arca-compatible clamp will accept most user-supplied Arca-type quick-release plates.
The gimbal head allows you to balance your camera and lens by sliding your quick-release plate back and forth until the swinging arm rests perfectly vertical. This makes tracking birds, athletes, or other fast-moving subjects simple when compared to a traditional ball head or pan head.
