The 47.25" Folding Beauty Dish with Grid and Speedlite Bracket from Pictools is a sturdily made, 16-sided light shaper for studio strobes or shoe-mount flashes. A favorite of fashion photographers, beauty dishes can be difficult to transport, with outsized cases and the potential to dent during use. The Pictools Dish has all of the benefits and none of the issues. It opens to a rigid 42" when in use and folds flat like a softbox when not in use. With its high output silver interior, it can be used as a large reflector or you can clamp on its inner reflector with or without the front diffuser for varying degrees of softness. The included fabric grid narrows the dish's beam and gives you directional control. The Beauty Dish comes with a a Bowens-compatible speed light mount. Speed ring adapters for Profoto, Photogenic, Fomex D, Bowens, Elinchrom, and Balcar are available for separate purchase.
