Product description The Bass FAT Drive from Pigtronix is a pedal designed to bring the characteristics of tube-driven harmonic distortion to your signal chain, effecting anything from a warm, smooth sound to a high-gain crunch. Pairing quite well with DI signals or solid-state amplifiers, this pedal creates an organic, reactive sound which utilizes Pigtronix’s CMOS clipping stage to naturally distort or break up the harder you pluck the strings of your bass.Three knobs are provided for sculpting your sound, with Gain and Volume controlling the level of distortion and the level of output respectively, and Tone giving you the ability to filter high frequencies in or out of the harmonic distortion. Giving you further control is a high- / low-gain toggle switch. This selector changes the gain structure of the pedal itself, allowing you to effect higher or softer levels of saturation with the flick of a switch. The pedal utilizes true-bypass switching to ensure your signal stays exactly the same in bypass mode. Able to run on 9V power, the Bass FAT Drive ships with an 18V power adapter to facilitate greater headroom, clarity, and output.
