Product description Pioneer Gets Hands-On with the DDJ-XP1 rekordbox dj Controller Read More The Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP1 is an add-on USB bus-powered performance controller designed for DJs who use rekordbox dj software. Any performer using turntables, multi-players, or external devices will benefit from a wide array of creative possibilities. The DDJ-XP1 offers an intuitive layout with 32 low-latency multi-colored performance pads, two touch-strips for dynamic control over slide FX, and a variety of performance modes including Hot Cue, Pad FX, Beat Jump, and Sampler. The Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP1 also includes Key Shift, a function that automatically matches the key of a track to the current master deck, ensuring seamless harmonic transitions and mixes. The pads can also be used in Keyboard mode, which allows the performer to improvise and create musical phrases. A pad editor is included for customizing each performance pad's mode and function. The Pioneer DDJ-XP1 ships with a USB cable, and license key cards for rekordbox dj and rekordbox dvs. - Intuitive Layout
- The layout is divided into an upper section controlling key and beat sync status, while the lower section triggers the 32 performance pads. FX are dynamically controlled by touching the Slide FX strips
- Performance Pads
- 32 multi-colored pads help you craft unique sets, and get the most out of rekordbox dj, and rekordbox dj's performance features. These tactile pads boast the lowest latency of any DJ controller, and are built to remain that way even after hitting hard, time after time
- Slide FX
- Dynamically control your chosen combination of FX by touching the Slide FX strips and moving your finger up and down, without needing to switch the selected FX on or off
- rekordbox dj
- A rekordbox dj license key is bundled with this add-on controller. Simply activate your license key for DJ software, connect the controller, and start DJing
- rekordbox dvs
- A license key for rekordbox dvs is included in the box, giving you highly responsive scratch control with music from your rekordbox library
- Key Shift
- Automatically change the key of your next track to match the master deck, and shift keys up or down to mix any combination of tracks in perfect harmony
- Keyboard
- The keyboard lets you improvise with sounds, and create musical phrases similar to synths or other instruments. Select a Hot Cue or create a new one, then trigger it in different semitones using the pads
- Pad Editor
- Customize the arrangement of your 32 performance pads by assigning your favorite pad modes and features to each pad
- Silent Cue
- Avoid the music speeding up as your turntable starts to revolve by switching on Silent Cue. The music will restart instantly at the correct BPM when you press play on a stopped deck
