Product description Enjoy your favorite 33 1/3 and 45 rpm vinyl records almost instantly with this Kit that includes the Pioneer PL-990 Fully Automatic Belt-Driven Turntable and the matte black Kanto Living YU4 2-Way Powered Bookshelf Speakers. The turntable features a fully automatic design and uses a DC motor for enhanced precision.
The speakers are powered, so you can simply plug them in and connect them to the turntable or whatever other source you want with their optical, 1/8", or RCA jacks. They feature a bass-reflex design with rear-facing bass ports to enhance the low-frequency effects of the 4" woofers, while highs are produced with the 1" silk dome tweeters. Conveniently, all the inputs are located on the left speaker, which has a binding post pair output to the right speaker. - Pioneer PL-990 Fully Automatic Belt-Driven Turntable The Pioneer PL-990 Turntable is a fully automatic turntable with a precision DC motor and belt-driven platter. The turntable is compatible with 33 1/3 and 45 rpm records and features a built-in phono EQ, which allows the unit to be connected directly to a line input without the need for a dedicated phono preamp. The low-mass, straight tone arm and included moving magnet cartridge will allow your vinyl collection to shine with minimal distortion. The Pioneer PL-990 ships with a 45 rpm adapter.
